I own an '03 indian chief and if you heard they were poorly assembled- then you heard right. I need to shim a rocker arm about .012 inches and would like to know if this shim needs to be hardened. The rocker slides between 2 aluminum blocks so I'm guessin that there is not a lot of side load (or thrust) so hardening may not be necessary. Thanks
