i just found this forum, and thought i'd give my 2 cents worth. i've got a 1500 intruder, and about ten thousand milles i started using schaffers 20-50 racing oil. my bike run cooler, and i have got 86K on the bike now, and it still runs like a new one. this oil may not easy to find in your area. ask your auto supply stor
