kawasaki voyager need help with wirering

 i seem to have o short in the wire harness that is tide to handlebars radio goes on and off when hit a bump talk to four other s and they to have that problem.now it died on me this saturday put new batt in the bike starts up no problem but no head light now and dash light got it working but went out again if anybody knows were i should start looking please let me know just bought the bike a month ago from a older fella, first time with a kawasaki.
