The orignal Biker B&B in the South of France
We've been riding down to the south of France once a year for the past fifteen years, mostly on a Pan European. We have found the Maison St Georges which probably has to be the longest running truly Biker B&B to be without fault. There are a choice of restaurants in the village to eat at which saves us haveing to get back on the bike again after a full days riding...something I find really annoying to have to do as I cannot even have a glass of wine with my meal. They are only 7km north of Narbonne and around 15km...maybe less from the Mediteranean and the beach resort of St Pierre which we love. Also close by are the Costa Brava Spain (brilliant coastal road!)Carcassonne, the Corbieres, the minervois, Histor Roman Nimes with its amphitheatre and the Pont du Gard.
The owner of the place is a mixture Brit/Texan with French roots and speaks French fluently which was a bonus when our bike broke down out in the middle of nowhere. He arranged to get our bike picked up and taken into Narbonne and next morning it was fixed and we were on the road again. He also has a large garage (the former stables) where you are given a key and can lock your motorycle up securely for the night. What more really can I say, except that in the past I had booked into a new Biker B&B in the South of France, paid my deposit only to find it closed down and for sale on arrival!!! Not a nice surprise. Give Maison St Georges a try you won't be disappointed.

Brilliant B&B for Bikers in S of France
What can I say, i read the review written byt Tony and have to agree. We have never met but the thing we both have in common is we have both been and are guests of Maison St Georges. A fantastic B&B and Tony is right they've been open for years now, far longer than anyone else. Martin helped me out when i slid my Gixer down the road last year and had all the parts overnighted to the Suzuki dealer in Narbonne and we fitted the panels, clutch cover all in the garage and I was back on the road that afternoon!! Fantastic service way and beyond. Guy really knows how to ride too. His old GS is incredible to watch through the twisties in the hills....I could see the tyres moving on the rims!! Really!! Anyway, I for one will be going back there in the future...well actually in about a months time. Thanks Martin and thanks Laurence for a great time!
